Superman vs Batman: The Dark Knight Shortlist

Earlier this week, there have been rumours that ‘Man Of Steel‘ director Zack Snyder, has been meeting with comic supremo Frank Miller to discuss who will play Bruce Wayne/Batman in Snyder’s sequel that will see the Son of Krypton meet The Dark Knight.

Since Christian Bale has effectively ruled himself out of donning the cape and cowl ever again, the internet has been rife with suggestions on who should play the Caped Crusader.

However, The Hollywood Reporter claims to have six names which they believe are top of the wish-list, courtesy of their sources.

Of course, it’s very early days yet and nothing official has been confirmed, but until then, check out who’s reportedly being considered at this very moment:

Since the latest incarnation of Bats is allegedly going to be in his 40s and already well-established within Snyder’s world, the majority of the rumoured actors would seem to be a good fit. Ryan Gosling and Matthew Goode seem a bit too lightweight for the role, but there’s no denying they’re both talented actors, Gosling arguably one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now.

Who do you want to see as both The Dark Knight and the Billionaire Playboy?

Here is our list of who should play Bats; they’re tall, brooding, can definitely pack a punch and hold their own against Henry Cavill‘s Man Of Steel.
